Bengaluru's Runable Raises $21 Million to Turn AI Agents From Builders Into Growth Marketers
Bengaluru's Runable has raised $21 million to scale an AI agent that builds small businesses' digital presence and then runs the marketing that keeps it growing.

The Round
Runable, a Bengaluru-based AI agent startup, has raised $21 million in a Series A round co-led by Susquehanna Venture Capital and Nexus Venture Partners, with existing investors Together Fund and Array VC also participating. The round is an all-equity primary raise and values the roughly year-old company at $65 million post-money.
From Scraper to Growth Agent
Runable was founded in 2025 by Umesh Kumar, who previously built SkoolStream before it was acquired by Bodhi AI in 2022, and Saksham Sarda. The company started as a browser-automation and scraping tool before pivoting to a broader thesis: that a single AI agent could not just build a small business's digital presence but also run the growth work that keeps it alive afterward.
The current product lets a user's agent build real, working outputs — websites, mobile and internal applications, pitch decks, market analyses, prospect lists and marketing videos — and then hand off to what Runable calls its growth layer: running ad campaigns across platforms including ChatGPT Ads, Meta, Google, LinkedIn and TikTok, and executing outbound through cold email, direct messages and voice calls. It is a bet that the more defensible product isn't the one that helps a business get built once, but the one that keeps generating customers for it afterward.
The Traction Behind the Valuation
Runable says it went from zero to $2 million in annualized revenue within three weeks of turning on payments in March 2026, and now counts between 1.5 and 1.7 million registered users, with its largest markets in the US, UK and Japan — geography that points to a product built for a global, English-and-Japanese-speaking small-business audience rather than one anchored primarily in India, despite the company's Bengaluru base. The roughly 15-person team's ability to hit meaningful ARR that quickly after monetizing is the kind of early-traction signal that has made "AI agent" startups a crowded but still fundable category through 2026, even as investors have grown more selective about which agent platforms represent a durable product versus a thin wrapper around a foundation model.
Reading the Round
Susquehanna Venture Capital and Nexus Venture Partners co-leading, rather than a single lead writing the bulk of the check, is a structure increasingly common in AI-agent rounds where investors want exposure but are hedging conviction on any single team's ability to hold a moat as foundation-model providers themselves push further into agentic products. Runable's advantage, if it holds, is less about the underlying model — which it does not appear to be building itself — and more about the workflow integration across the disparate systems, from ad platforms to CRMs to communication channels, that a small business actually needs its growth to touch.
