DeepTech India is a digital-first media publication dedicated entirely to deep technology emerging from India. We exist because the most consequential story of our generation — the rise of hard science and frontier engineering in India — was being told in fragments. We set out to tell it properly.

Our Founder
DeepTech India was founded by Manik Gupta, who is deeply passionate about deep technology and its potential to transform India. He started DeepTech India out of a simple conviction: that the country's most ambitious science and engineering stories deserve to be told properly — with curiosity, depth, and genuine enthusiasm.
For Manik, deep tech is more than a beat to cover; it is a belief that India can build things that matter on the world stage. That optimism shapes everything we publish. When stories of Indian innovation are told with honesty and care, they inspire the next generation of founders, researchers, and dreamers to build even bigger — and that is exactly what DeepTech India sets out to do.
